Steven Bennett, MD, was awarded his Doctor of Medicine Degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville. Following his internship at the Hennepin County Medical Center, he completed a residency in ophthalmology at the University of Iowa, and a fellowship in diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous at the Eye Institute of the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He joined VitreoRetinal Surgery in 1990 and is an Associate Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Bennett has a special interest in retinal vitreous surgery, diabetic eye problems, Argon laser and macular degeneration.
