David A. Ferenci, MD

I completed my undergraduate degree in biology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. I attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, earning my medical degree in 1984. I performed both my internship and residency in pediatrics at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. I completed my fellowship in gastroenterology in 1989 at the same facility.

I am board-certified by the American Board of Pediatric Gastroenterology and by the American Academy of Pediatrics. My special medical interests include: pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition along with inflammatory bowel disease. I am a clinical instructor of pediatrics at the University of Minnesota.

In my spare time, My family and I enjoy water sports and skiing.
