Adaptive Pickleball
Courage Kenny Adaptive Sports and Recreation is now offering Adaptive Pickleball.
Spring clinic will provide you with the knowledge and basic skills of pickleball in a fun and inclusive environment. Our four-week summer session is indoors at Pickle in the Middle, Brooklyn Park. Come play full games or develop your skills with knowledgeable volunteers.
Wheelchair users and ambulatory players are welcome. All equipment, including sports wheelchairs are provided by Courage Kenny.

What it is
Pickleball is a fun an inclusive sport that can be enjoyed by individuals of all ages and abilities.
- A paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton and ping-pong.
- Can be played standing or using a wheelchair.
- Played on a small court, pickleball allows you to be fully engaged in the game without having to chase the ball as much as other sports.
- Rules are simple, making it a great introductory sport, though it can get highly competitive.

$50 summer session
Thanks to generous donors, we have revamped our Cost Share program that provides scholarships for CKRI Adaptive Sports and Recreation activities. If approved, all applicants will receive 90% discount on all Adaptive Sports and Recreation programs and activities for 1 year. After 1 year, applicants must reapply. Cost Share approval is based on financial need.
Activities fill up fast, so we encourage you to apply prior to registration opening. Do not register online or you will be forced to pay full fee. To apply for cost share:
