Golf, adaptive – Oak Glen Golf Course, Stillwater

This program is designed to accommodate individuals with disabilities who are interested in learning to play golf as well as those who want to return to the game of golf after the onset of their disability.

What it is

Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute offers adaptive golf instruction and play for youth and adults. Golf can be adapted to every one’s skill level. Lessons, adaptive equipment and course play are available.

Who it is for

This program is for individuals with a physical disability. Family and friends of participants are encouraged to attend and play with the registered golfer. People who have amputations, arthritis, strokes, polio, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities are welcome to join.

Good to know

Trained staff and volunteers are available to assist the golfer.

Volunteers do not need to have knowledge of golf. Just a willingness to support others.

Fee information

Youth golf will have two summer sessions.  Each session will cost $50 per 5 week session.  Start times are Fridays from 7:45am to 8:30am.  Summer session 1 – June 11th – July 9th.  Summer session 2 – July 16th – August 13th.  

 

Adult golf cost $40 program fee per program session plus greens fees every Friday, beginning May 28th from 12:45pm to 3:45pm  – 10 Week Session

Adult Green Fees are $21 which includes golf cart and 9 holes on the executive side.

 

What to bring

Bring your own golf clubs and water to help with hydration. Golf clubs may be provided, if needed.
