Adaptive tennis is an incredibly inclusive game. Come and learn the lifelong sport of tennis so you can play with friends and family. Whether you can stand, walk, or use a manual or power wheelchair, adaptive tennis is designed for everyone. Playing tennis can help you improve your hand-eye coordination, strength and concentration. This adaptive class is open to people ages 6 and up, offering a fantastic opportunity to engage in a fun, active, and social sport. Join us and discover the joy of adaptive tennis!

Who it is for
Our adaptive tennis program is open individuals that stand, walk, use a manual wheelchair, or a power chair. We are all learning the sport together! Open to ages 6 and up.
Good to know
You’ll receive professional instruction from our partners at USTA Northern and skilled volunteer instructors.
The only rule that is different is wheelchair athletes get two bounces prior to hitting the ball.
All necessary equipment will be provided. If you need to borrow a sports wheelchair, please contact CKRIsportsrecreation@allina.com.

No participant will be turned away due to financial hardships. Thanks to our generous donors, scholarships are available based on financial need. To apply, complete a Scholarship / Cost Share application prior to registering for a program. Please contact us if you have any questions.
