65+ Depression Process Group
The 65+ Depression Process Group is for adults 65 and older who are living with depression. This group provides support, structure and connection to other older adults who are dealing with depression.
Participants of this group will:
- learn skills to help decrease symptoms of depression and the need for individual therapy visits
- discuss sources of joy in past, present and future
- learn helpful coping skills for loss
- identify thinking patterns, including observation and mindfulness of automatic thoughts, both helpful and hurtful.
Group members will be required to complete an intake prior to starting the group. This group is billable to medical insurance.
