Way to Wellness
This education and therapy group is for people with depression and anxiety who want to learn about their illness, and gain coping skills and support from other people who are dealing with similar issues.
The group meets once a week for two hours.
- The first hour is education about a specific topic, such as understanding the cycle of stress, mindfulness skills, good self care, emotion regulation, or recognizing and challenging negative thinking.
- The second hour is group therapy, a time to share your struggles and benefit from the empathy and experience of others.
You can join the group whenever space is available. Participants are asked to have a one-hour intake appointment before their first support group meeting and make a commitment to attending for eight weeks. Call 651-241-5959 to schedule an intake appointment or to ask any questions.
