What are you passionate about? The mind is a powerful tool, and what is imagined often comes true whether that thing is negative or positive.
When did you know this career was for you? I first became interested in nutrition in high school when I volunteered on the medical floors at a local hospital and learned about therapeutic diets.
One of the challenges of this career that I enjoy is: With so much information available about food and nutrition, it's challenging for people to know what to believe, and I enjoy guiding people on what food changes are realistic for them and what can make the biggest impact on how they feel.
What is the best thing you've done for your health? I carry a water bottle everywhere I go so I continually sip water all day as I know being well hydrated keeps me feeling alert and awake.
What are a few of your personal achievements? Completing a walking marathon and two triathlons.
