Why I became a pediatrician: I have always loved kids and I loved math and science in school. Being a pediatrician has always been a natural fit for me.
What I tell my friends and family: Make sure to have plenty of protein in your diet, especially for breakfast.
How I spend my free time: I spend time with my husband and 3 very busy, active boys. We also love spending time at our cabin and being active in our church.

Favorite health tip: Make your plate a rainbow to try to eat more fruits and veggies.
Practice philosophy: I enjoy coming along side parents--educating them about what is going on with their kids and empowering families on childhood development, discipline and general health.
